We have been successful in implementing a self help project for 7 families by providing them with string hopper machines, gas cylinders and utensils to enable them to cook and sell string hoppers.

The families can start with a 2 week trial before choosing to continue long term.

For each string hopper sold, they will give back Rs 0.50 to the scheme. This money will be used to buy more machines and tools to give other families the opportunity to join the scheme if they wish to. This project was able to take place because of some generous one off donations from our donors in the UK.
