We purchased five Singer machine and the other equipment including scissors and cutting table and started the tailoring project in February 2024. There were ten women who are from the women headed families taking part in this project. Among them one woman is their teacher who guide them a I’m o nd supervise them.

When we started the project we bought two hundred thousand SriLankan rupees worth of raw materials including textiles, buttons and zips. Now the project is going on well and they are managed to market the cloths they stitch and share the profit among themselves.
